Workhouse Arts Center Celebrating 15 Years
November 18th, 6 pm
On behalf of the Workhouse Arts Center and the Board of Directors, we cordially invite you to join us for the 2023 Gala–Coloring Our World: Workhouse Arts Center Celebrating 15 Years. More than just an excuse to break out the black tie, the Gala provides a retrospective on the past 15 years of creating a vibrant, exciting arts community in the former Lorton prison. In keeping with the engaging theme, guests will be invited to participate in evening-gown-friendly art activations, chat with artists, enjoy dinner, a surprise vocal performance, live band, dancing, and explore the wonderful treasures in our silent and paddle auctions.
In addition, special guests will add their personal touches to the evening including remarks from Jeff McKay, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Workhouse artist Phoebe Peterson will acknowledge the contributions of fellow longtime artists whose creativity has helped shaped the Workhouse into what it is today. Joey Wallen, our Director of Performing Arts, will serve as the evening’s MC.
Best of all, the ticket price supports the Workhouse and our mission to bring arts education, performing arts, community events, and more to the county and the region. The Gala is our single most important fundraising opportunity, and we’re grateful for your participation.
While you are no longer able to sponsor online, please email Kathi Lunardi should you still wish to support the Gala.
