Background
Dawn has a Technical Graphics Art degree she earned before beginning a career as a nurse. After retiring from her nursing career, she took many workshops in watercolor, Started her own greeting card shop on Etsy and was an artist with “The Artists Undertaking Gallery” in Occoquan, Va from 2021-2023 and was Co- Chair for the gallery from 2022-2023. She is also a member of the Prince William Art Society.
Artistic Philosophy
Dawn likes to find images from nature or to focus on an interesting portion of an image.She enjoys the use of negative space and the translucent nature of watercolors as she feels it helps her create the image she is trying to achieve.
