W-6: “Recent Work” by Alison Landry

Alison's work is rooted in the rich tradition of figurative realism. Her paintings range from loose and expressive sketches to work that is more carefully studied and resolved, yet still painterly. Alison enjoys exploring color, texture, and expressive brushwork within the structure of realist proportions and form. She is captivated by people and strives to capture both their likeness and spirit in her work.
